Golf Course Volunteer
Cattail Crossing Volunteer Guidelines
As a Golf Course Volunteer, you play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation and maintenance of the golf course, ensuring an enjoyable experience for players and in exchange you can enjoy the benefits of free golf at a highly rated 18 hole course! Volunteers are essential in assisting with marshalling, starting, and course maintenance tasks. This role requires a commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and a passion for golf.
Key Duties:
- Marshalling: Monitor pace of play and course flow by patrolling designated areas of the course, ensuring players adhere to golf course rules and etiquette.
- Starting: Assist with the efficient and orderly start of golf rounds by coordinating player check-in, assigning tee times, and providing information on course conditions and local rules.
- Course Maintenance: Work alongside groundskeeping staff to perform various maintenance tasks, including divot repair, ball mark fixing, bunker raking, and debris removal, to uphold course aesthetics and playing conditions.
- Tee Box Setup: Assist in setting up tee boxes, including placement of tee markers, divot mix, and signage, to ensure proper alignment and presentation for players.
- Waste Management: Help maintain cleanliness of the golf course by collecting and disposing of trash and litter throughout the facility, including on-course and in common areas.
- Player Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to players as needed, including directions to amenities, information on course layout, and basic troubleshooting for golf equipment.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff, including proper handling of equipment and adherence to course policies.
- Equipment Care: Assist in the care and maintenance of golf course equipment, including golf carts, range pickers, and hand tools, to ensure functionality and longevity.
- Event Support: Offer support during golf tournaments, outings, and special events, including setup, player registration, and on-course assistance as directed by event organizers.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with golf course staff, fellow volunteers, and players to ensure effective coordination and cooperation throughout daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Passion for golf and a desire to contribute to the golfing community.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Willingness to undergo training on golf course policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

The club offers a variety of golf services including night golf, aqua range, tournaments, events, corporate meeting venue, private parties, winter activities, weddings and more! The Cattail Crossing Golf and Winter Club is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our Team.
Job Description: Preparing food for service and helping to make sure the kitchen stays clean, tidy, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, preparing sauces)
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Comply with sanitation guidelines
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so the can be organized an easily accessible
- Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years as a prep / line cook
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Physical capability for frequent heavy lifting
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location
- Ability to work shifts – days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Employment Terms:
- Seasonal (March – October) with opportunity for year-round employment
- Full Time and Part Time availability
- Wage based on experience
- Expected Start Date: March/April 2026
